Hello
I am a aspiring game designer trained as a 3D artist and over the last few years while pursuing my Bachelors I have branched out and used my own art assets to create a game. I have spent the last year or so learning the Unreal Engine and the programming needed to build a foundation my current prototype that is available for download.
My passion and dream has always been world building and game development. While the gaming community has gotten bigger and more divided, I think that passionate developers that gather to make something great shine brighter then a well marketed project with no passion or scope. I have been trying to get to a point where I felt my work could stand out, but over time I realize that not posting anything or waiting for my work to have the scope of an AAA title was causing me to doubt myself. I denied myself community and criticism that could make my work better which is what I want in the first place.
I plan to keep editing and improving the prototype Codex of the Cryptids, making bigger then then student project it currently is. The goal is to release it on Steam and other platforms once the prototype has the outline of the full game programmed. With a character class selection and an area selection where missions can be completed. I plan to upload a roadmap pdf and some sort of update schedule for those who follow the progress of the game.
I would appreciate any constructive feedback to anything about the game or art for it.
Please enjoy my games and I hope it is at least entertaining!
